Hi all,
I'm trying to track the previous US owner of my vette, I know he was a US seriveman from Whichita Falls TX - am wondering if there are any Vette clubs in the area - as he seemed to like the car enough to bring it to the UK I'm figuring he may well still be very into vettes so may be a club member near his home.

Cheers guy's - have tried the DMV route before - even contacted the county clerks offcie in whichita falls - they don't have records for it as it left the us via a military route in 1988 and was driven in the uk on american plates for 12 months before registering with uk plates. I even have copies of the JAG papers showing which base it was at here - contacted them but they wouldn't divulge military personel info - also left a messgae on their website's BB just incase the guy still uses it to contact old friends.
Even managed to use a white page look up for his name but got no email adress - got a postal address sent him a letter to the reistered address with my email address on it and also a pre paid return envelope - just got a letter and an email back saying no longer at this address - sorry. Been trying to track him for around 8 years - keep coming back to looking for him every now and again as obivously info on-line changes so often.
