need help
Hi everyone im here to pick your brains again. My 87 vette cuts out when i make hard turns and accelerate at the same time. If i turn on an on ramp and step on it its just like i shut the key off.If i let off on the fuel it picks it right back up.Any ideas?last couple of times it backfired when it caught again if that helps any.Its one thing after another with this car im glad i have a 79 to fall back on cuss it never lets me down.Plez help me out guys

How much gas is in the tank when this occurs? If it is at 1/4 or below, it could be fuel starvation at the fuel pickup in the gas tank. If this is the case, try it with a full gas tank and see if the problem goes away.

If you still have the original fuel pump on your car, it may be time to replace it along with the filter sock on the end of the pump pickup.
I used to have this problem when my fuel tank was at 1/4 full or below. After I replaced the fuel pump, pickup sock and fuel filter these fuel starvation problems went away.
