Broke Both Window Ribbons

now I get to do the replacement...

Oh well... I hope these new ones last another 25 years...

if so, I'll be Ok...

why not upgrade to newer regulators and last a lifetime

I was told thats whats wrong with my window,I looked for info on the tech side didn't find anything on it.

25 years is about their life. I had to replace mine also. If the replacements last another 25, I will not have the car when they need replaced.

I replaced both with new electric regulators. First the passenger side about 10 years ago. For those 10 years the driver side lifted the window in about 6-7 seconds, passenger side with the new part in about 3 seconds. I made up my mind that as soon as the drivers side broke I would go for new all metal/all electric replacement. About a month ago, it finally broke and I've replaced it with the new part. It literally flies up and down even faster than the passenger side.

Yea, a bunch more money for the new part but it's only money.

I upgraded both of my lifts with the new scissor type off ebay,

faster and better
