Default Code 43 and a dumb question
Just pulled a Code 43 (Electronic Spark Control) from my 91 Coupe. Now for the dumb question... what is an electronic spark control?

Thanks kimmer. After posting this, I realized it would be better answered in the tech section. I definately got the education I was looking for. The knock sensor's about $40. I'll get it up on ramps and shimmy my fat a** underneath the car and change it out this weekend. I wonder what it would have cost for the diag and fix at the local repair shop? Thanks to all that helped write that C4 DIY Thread!!!

There is also an electronic ESC module on the right side of the engine bay near the blower motor.
