I really missed Rose after letting her go. While I was able to get back what I had in her, and she was about to get really expensive (weather stripping was really bad, tires were bald, was starting to show more electrical problems, in all I figured she needed about $4-5k in work to keep driving her), I have really missed her. So I decided to start another Corvette savings fund. And I'm starting to think I hit the jackpot with this beauty.
Let me introduce you to my newest baby, Ivy. Ivy is a '93 6spd convertible with 150k miles. So far, Ivy seems to be in better condition than Rose ever was when I had her. No trouble codes, no check engine light, and starts up immediately when the key is turned. Now if the weather would just give me a few +75' sunny days.....
Those rears are actually factory 16" wheels from a '94 Camaro Some had the aluminum wheels and some came with steel wheels and they have the same exact backspacing as the 'Vette wheels. Also all 4 snow tires have firestone inner tubes inside them so different air pressure can be ran for better traction depending on the road and snow conditions. They Work great.
That is awesome. Good to know that the Camaro wheels can fit also. Thanks and good luck in the snow! Luckily that is something we don’t have to deal with in South Carolina haha
