I got a collapsible Torx wrench that contains a bunch of different sizes up to the needed T40 and folds up. I keep it in the console pocket and use it to remove the top bolts. Works pretty well because it has pretty good leverage to tighten the bolts or the initial loosening, but can work almost like a screwdriver to quickly loosen them once they are broken loose. Can loosen all four in about a minute when removing the top. Seems like it is a LOT faster and easier than trying to use a ratchet.

This sounds like a nice set up. The ratchet is a neat idea but clumsy in operation.
