The radius of the cuts and serging or edging was waaaay off on the first two, and the quality of the stitching was really substandard. The third set was finally acceptable (not perfect by any means). Obviously they're still using the same incorrect patterns, and are dealing with this issue only when someone makes noise about it. That's a real shame.
Same situation with the ACC carpet set i just bought, the serging/edging is substandard compared to the factory. Pretty sloppy stitching to boot.
A slight positive is that the curvature of the edging on mine are ok.
It was my understanding in talking to Rodger that they do have another machine that can do a better job on the edging and that he was going to look in to this.
I know they are reading this thread.. I've been copying it and sending it to him via email.
So in other words, Rodger already knows that one of his machines that sews the edging is NOT doing quality work. That's not acceptable. Rodger, if you are reading this, please fix your machines so they all do quality work. You'll benefit your company in the long run.
Well I finally received the replacement carpet pieces from ACC thanks to Rodger. They fixed the serging/stitching on the console side pieces, sent the missing pieces for around the upper shoulder harness attach points, and sent me a set of floor mats for my trouble. Thanks again Rodger!
All looks good, took a little time to get it done but I am pleased with the efforts put forth by Wilcox and ACC to make it right.
Thanks again!

ACC is the company that makes the carpet for alot of the aftermarket companies.Ive got a set in my 64 Nova that came from ACC,total garbage and not worth the time or money I wasted putting it in the car.Now the bad news,ACC is regarded as the best on the market.

I'm sorry for your troubles and glad they were fixed in the proper manner. The good news is that it should take care of this issue from now on. From what I understand a new machine is being used for the surging.
