Default Door Panels?

I inherited a 1992 lt1 and I noticed the door panels were falling off. Is there any way to fix this problem? Should I just buy 2 new doors?

Do a search of the C4 forums and you should find many threads on repair procedures. Just depends on what is "falling apart" as to whether you can reasonably fix them. Post some pics and I'm sure some people will reply.

Coming loose at the top is a common issue and as mentioned has been covered extensively with many fixes detailed. If the panel is water damaged and separating new panels are in order. Fix the water leaks first before buying new panels they are very expensive as you will find all interior pieces are. You can also try Corvette recyclers for good used panels.

Good luck and post some pics of your inheritance.

Welcome noob. I know the search function is not very intuitive, so here is a link you can look at:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-g...panel-fix.html

It would be easier to just buy new doors, but in case you haven't priced them yet, I think a new door panel is about $500.

Good luck
