I know, just yanking your chain I am pretty sure mine looks like yours anyways, since the roads here in Chicago has more if not the same amount of junk on it as NY does

I found butts, leaves, a WalMart bag, and one of those huge Sonic Route 44 cups in my '94 - removal of these solved my overheating problems. I reckon the cup got flattened on the road and found its way in there. Nasty.

My '96 (which came out of North Texas) had clumps of hay, grass clippings, and a Winston cigarette pack in it. Wish I had taken pics of these, no one but other C4 drivers believe me when I tell them...

Hope it helps you. I wouldn't run a C4 without such a screen in place. No more worries about leaves, bags, etc!

There's nothing uncommon about this. I've seen and heard of all manner of stuff getting lodged up in there. The screens I installed stop almost all of it.
