Corvette Central sells the door insulation kits that were stock on late C4's, 92-96. The preformed kit is only $22 and claims to reduce road noise considerably. I've got an 88 Vert and do experience alot of noise through the door.
I had to take the door panels off for mirror removal so I put the foam in while I was at it. I can't say I noticed a "considerable" reduction in road noise, but the doors do have a more solid sound when I close them.

The PO had these and never installed them. When I was working on the doors I went ahead and installed them. They did cut the noise and made the doors sound a lot more solid. I dont know how expensive they are but if you have the panels off go ahead and get them. Any lessening of road noise is a plus.
i used Dynomat (Fatmat), thruout entire car including doors, its peal and stick, got rid of all door noise, ground noise, tire noise, and if I listen close, I can hear the flowmaster exhuast, air is ice cold also.
