Cruise Control Not Working

Hey Guys, still new to the forum and could use some help. My 95 C4 is finally starting to show her age, had to replace the transmission last month and the brake booster a couple of wks ago, I normally only drive 3-5 miles a day so no need for the crusie until I took a long drive, anyway after a 100 miles I noticed my cruise doesn't work and to far now to return to the dealer. Would appreciate any help/ideas. Thanks

Check the 2 vacuum lines coming and going to the cruise control servo. The servo is the diaphragm device just above the battery. It's possible that while your brake booster was being replaced, a vacuum line was knocked off or torn.

Check...

Voltage from switch to servo.
Vacuum lines and servo diaphragm (test with vac pump)
Brake and Clutch switches.

Also check under the brake pedal. If the brake switch is offset of the pedal arm the Cruise Control will not set. It must be centered on the pedal arm. GC
