I just junked my original GY Eagles with 8/32nds of tread depth. They had no weather checking but they were hard as rocks. My new BFG G-Force Sports are MUCH stickier.
I'd say toss them unless you know someone who wants them for a show car. I almost sold my rears to a guy in NJ but he hesitated and they got recycled.

Save them on their original wheels & purchase some new wheels with new high performance rubber for daily use. This way if you ever decide to show the car or take it through the NCRS, AACA or Bloomington Gold process, you won't have to spend a fortune to get there.
