vats/security system trouble
So most of the time my car cant even start, the security light comes on and I just have to wait it out, im trying to bypass it using this thread http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...rial-pics.html
Is that the correct thread? I have a 93 lt1 auto.
Is there anything else I can bypass or delete in addition to this?

Early C4's you can leave a resistor connected to defeat VATS, but I am sure that on your 93 you cannot do that because the computer requires the ign key be removed between crank attempts. There are kits available to defeat VATS on your year vette. Or......you could repair your VATS and have better theft protection.

Leaving your keys in the ignition keeps the anti theft module on and will drain your battery. I have read about the kits, but I repair my VATS circuits when they quit. You might use the search function to find the kits.
