I have a 4 point roll cage in my car. I have stock seats in it and my head sits above the head rest. When I go to the track some times and my helment hit the roll bar behind me! I got to looking at it and If I was rear ended, my head would hot the roll bar.... I was wondering of the later model seats were significantly taller or does a company produce a taller seat. I don't want racing seats because I want it to be a comfortable ride. So I want them as comfortable as the stock ones. Please give me some advice thanks! It's 1988 coupe.
or do you want to lower the seat to gain extra head room?
there are a lot of seat threads; the racy people who want a seat with more support and extra headroom than stock, but still want a comfortable seat seem to choose Corbeau A4 seats. Apparently A4's are one of the few aftermarket seats narrow enough to fit in a c4.
Give us a shout if you are looking for a set of A4s, we are a forum sponsor and have great pricing.
