The digital readout in my 87 is exact according to my GPS, the highest I've seen is 145mph, and it had alot more left. Been to 220mph on a Turbo Hayabusa.
I took my Stock 95 to 169mph around 5100rpm in 5th gear, it seemed near topped out. i was on flat, relatively newly paved, highway at around 0430 when no one was around. It felt pretty stable other than the engine screaming and the wind noise howling.
Uh oh.....Crocamonga has been summoned yet again, and he is not pleased.
