Default Body damage

So I have a 85 Greenwood with 66k. Now I am planning on restoring it... or something IDK yet... (would rather just sell and get c5)

Anyways. above the Drivers side rear wheel the car got backed into and there is a fiber glass chip. can the whole panel be replaced or do i need to have it fixed at a body shop? :/

A pic would help in judging the what needs to be done. There is also a whole forum here devoted to Body and Paint. Post up a pic there and get professional advice. There a quite a few knowledgeable folks here but B&P has the folks that are in the business.

This is the damage. I tried to leave the wheel in the pic for referance to size.

Now I would love to sell it but there is 2 problems. 1st I hit a rough patch a bit ago and thought I had to take out a loan so I did using this car as colaterall :P bad idea cause it turns out I didnt need to and instead of paying my loan back asap I just went and had a good time (Im 20) So there is a $4000 lein on the title so I could sell it, then it would have to be to someone who was close cause I cant get the title till its paid. SO... cash is what Im tryin to say I guess... Hopefully you get that :P.

Also I dont even know what the car would easily sell for with the damage above the wheel. This car is not my daily driver.

All advice will be greatly appreciate and has been so far!!

Awful big chip

Sell it as is get what you can for it. The money youd spend fixing it you may need to help pay it off to turn over the title.

Lesson learned....so dont do that again til the next time!

If you don't have the money to pay off the $4000 loan you probably aren't getting a C5 any time soon so the best bet is probably to just fix the Vette you have. JMO.

Wellllll..... The thing is... (I posted on my wtb a c5 thread) But Im twenty and have a fairly good job so Paying it off isnt the problem. Its just Im also trying to build my credit more so I was going to just keep my loan and get a bigger one (on a c5 maybe IDK YET) But anyways. Currently my Credit rating is ~700 and Im trying to get it to grow a bit more while at my Prereq training for the Army (I got an 18x contract but have to go through Infantry and airborne and SFAS before I know anything for sure but I have autopay at my bank with my loan and I wont be worrying about paying it while gone yet still have my credit grow. (I ramble)) But what Im trying to say is I can afford a C5 its just I dont know about if its worth it to fix this car before I sell it or just try and sell it as is.......

Any help?

(also I had to make it a point on my other thread that I currently have a good job that isn't the military. I am an extremely organized person and know what Im doing but just stuck in this situation. Lol.)

Like Frizzlefrack said, just sell it. If damage is a distraction in the sale then consider having it fixed.
