carpeting question
RE the '90: What I got was the mass-back (heavy rubberized) type for the floor and cargo areas, and a vinal backed type for the door sills.
Overall, I would rate the carpet as very good quality material, and the pre-cutting was such that little trimming was needed, and the pre-molding was 95% accurate.
However, I was dissappointed to find out that the "kit" didn't include the special pieces to cover either the rear speaker nor the front speakers. And, where the capet butts up against the top edge of the console and the knee panels, the thread count was so low as to allow the nap of the carpet to stick through the stitching, making the finished edge "fuzzy". And, in one place the trim stitching "ran off" of the edge of the carpet for a couple inches, leaving a couple inches on that piece unfinished.
I called MA about the speaker issue and they sent me a nice piece of porous, vinyl-backed carpet to cover the speakers - front and rear. I still have the front speakers to re-cover, but the piece they sent me, with the help of a heat gun, turned out really nice on the rear.
As for the "fuzz" sticking through the stitching and where the trim stitching ran off the edge of the carpet, I was able to fix it up w/o much fuss. However, I would suggest that with any carpet you buy on line that you pull the pieces out inspect them. Look for seperate pieced for the front speakers as well as the ones in the rear.
Would I buy from them again? Yes. But, as I indicated, I'd want to discuss the speaker issue before placing an order, and if the trim stitching on those console and knee panels is fuzzy, I would want them to make good on that.
Bottom line: Like I said, I was very pleased. MA made good on the speakers, and the fuzz issue took just a few minutes to correct.

Sorry, thats all I got. Good luck!
That's what I plan on doing whenever I need carpeting.
