Pay Pal

I have an offer to purchase my 93 but the guy says he is in the Forces and can only pay by Pay Pal as he must be deployed. He says he cannot access his bank and Pay Pal is the only way he can pay. Does this smell of scam to anyone else or am I just to old school. He is going to have an agent pick the car up.

Sounds of a SCAM to me also. Here's one where they were buying furniture. Just substitute the word Corvette and there ya' go. He also had an aent that would pick it up.

You should be able to sell it local......

I do 90% of my online buying/selling thru paypal, If they have a good rating w/ paypal, I ship as soon as paypal confirms the transfer of funds, to sell a car, the funds would have to be in my personal bank account prior to releasing any product/title/keys, etc...that requires trust on both sides, its a choice you have to be the one making it.
