Hatch cover won't open anymore. Only the driver side pops open
but pass. side stays latched. Any ideas?

There is a manual release mechanism attached to the actuator on both sides of the top cover. I would release the passenger side in this manner, and then look to see if anything is binding or if the cable snapped on the passenger side.

The cable on the passenger side may be stuck or disconnected. The actuator pulls on both the driver and passenger side of the top cover via cables to release the convertible lid. (Resembles a T connection). On the passenger side it may need lubricated or even reconnected as some possibilities. If you need further assistance, contact me and I can send you a video of my convertible top mechanism in operation to use as a guide.
Hello, thanks for the help, I may need to see a picture
or video of where this release is. I know there is a release under there for the two pins/holes in the cover.
But not sure about the actual cover...the electric switch you push activates a solenoid to release the lock on each side. I have looked in the owners manual but have not seen a manual release to open the cover up. Any help greatly appreciated...there is not much room to look under there to find anything, and I don't want to wreck anything else.
Got it. Had to jimmy the latch open w/2 screwdrivers to release the
pass. side. Found the cable emergency release assembly fell apart off of a
small shaft, along with the nylon washer and palnut, it was just laying there. It all has to be together to work, reassembled and all is well. The release cable now works well as do the electric switches. (there are 4 of them)!
