2149's are used on LT1's  Hooker shows 2061 for uncoated and 2061-1 for coated although I'm not sure if they are long tube or shorties designed to work with your existing cats. Not saying it can't be done... just that Hooker has part numbers specific to 92-95 LT1's :)
... and Hookers are ALOT cheaper... with excellant quality... here's my 2149's. Take a look at the air tubes and see if its a direct bolt up for you at the head flanges. Running 2149's, if possible, will require you to relocate your cat(s). Planning on dual exhaust?

The Hooker 2061's your reffering to are the shorty headers. They're basically a waste of money IMO- No HP/TQ increase to speak of, more difficult access to plugs, and most of them cost two thirds (if not the same) price as long tubes. But, they WILL fit with your existing cats, so it's considered a "bolt-on" that's the reason the Hooker specifies the 2061 for LT engines.
I can't speak from first hand experience, but from what people say- the Hooker 2149's are an excellent fit on LT's. MANY forum members have them. As with the addition of ANY long tube header on an LT engine, you will need to buy some aftermarket cats
LT engines have true dual exhaust systems anyway! SO, make sure you buy two. I have personally seen dyno's of people gaining nearly 35hp from going to long tubes alone. I'm sure several people with LT headers will chime in. Good luck.
I will be ordering a set next month for my '94. I am yet undicided if I am going with the EM or TPIS. I am leaning toward the TPIS. I plan to do away with the cats and AIR stuff while I am at it.

Any pros or cons between these two.[/QUOTE]
I had EM headers. However, I have found that they do NOT fit with a Canton racing oil pan. MORE Perf. is in the process of rebuilding my LT4 due to oil starvation, so I've learned my lesson: Canton oil pan it is! SO, I'll soon be in the market for another set of headers. From the homework I've done, TPIS is the second best. Several forum members run them without any complaints. They are also said to be an easy fit.
If you don't plan on adding a racing oil pan- go with with Exotic Muscle headers. The reason they don't fit with one is that they are made to tuck tightly into the undercarriage of the vehicle- a good thing (prevents clearance issues commonly associated with others). Cheaper too. EM does sell a "nameless" oil pan that they swear fits with their headers, but its much more expensive.
SO- Canton oil pan= TPIS headers
Factory oil pan= Exotic Muscle (takes a LONG time to get them shipped to you though)
