Default 85 Side moldings

Has any one seen pics or have done a side molding removal an fabed over the molding spots to make it flush and to have the exterior with no moldings if so some pics would be great or any feed back. I worked in a body for three years and went to school for auto body so I know I can do it but would like pics if anybody has done it before thanks for reading. I will post pics when I start the process.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I like the belt moldings for both looks and protection from door dings.

no, it's not my car. one thing i figure is the owner replaced his front/rear fascias with fiberglass replacements. i'm no body man, but i'm figuring you cant fill in the gaps on urethane - ??? - , its a different look, but i'm still one that likes the black belt, iconic detail on the early C4's. either way, it's your car, so if that floats your boat, do it! keep us posted with pics. one thing, there is a forum member that took the wide, color coordinated, late C4 molding and installed it on a early C4. i have only seen some early, development pics, but it did look promising.
