Default Brake noise

I put new rotors on my car the other day. Took it on about a 20 mile test drive and everything's fine, so I parked the car for the night. I hop in the next day and get about a mile from home and start getting this kind of clunking sound coming from the left front. It kind of sounds like the caliper is loose and bouncing off the rotor, but when I hit the brakes it stops. Somethings got to be loose right?
So I take the wheels off and double check the caliper mounting bolts, everything seems tight. I put the wheels back on and take it on a 5 mile ride and everything's working fine. I stop at home, take a shower and take off an hour later. I get a mile from home and start getting the clunking noise again!
So the next day I take all four calipers back off, take the shoes off, clean everything, put the pads back on with the anti rattle clips, grease the caliper pins, put it all back together and go for a test drive. Everything is working fine now. I stop at home for about half an hour and go to leave and guess what............... about a mile from home the clunking noise starts again! I tap the brakes and it stops. WTF??

Does anybody got any ideas here?

Mine was just doing the same thing and when I took the pins out I realized the pins were worn. I bought new ones and everything is good.
