exhaust question?
I have 1989 l98 corvette and I deleted my main cat and now I want to delete my 2 precats but I wanted to know if my check engine light will come on due to my oxygen sensors ? and is there anyway I can avoid getting my check engine light coming on. I don't care about emissions.

Your oxygen sensor wont care if it has a cat, is fitted before the pre cats anyway. I have no cat in my 85 but that doesn't have the pre-cats.

You only have one O2 sensor and it is near the header flange. As long as you keep it close to that location you will be fine, just louder with more reasonance!
I have removed all the cats on my '89 and run the O2 sensor in the stock location w/no dash lights or problems.
