door panel lights

Stereo guy cuts out old alarm wires and now no door panel lights ?? can someone assist...checked fuses...

He may have fried the bulbs during the process. Have you checked those. What year car do you have. Nothing in your profile

I have a 1985 C4...I am remodifying door panels etc and I was noticing
the lights were not on when I opened the doors..Thx..I will get my profile updated ..

On my 87, the light on the door handle (the white lens part) is also a switch. You can push it in and it will turn the lights on/off. Did he play with that?

Thanks I will try this evening to see if the light needs to be pushed
on the on position ..I know they worked perfect before he got a hold of my car...
