Seeing C4 Corvettes selling for prices like this and appearing in good condition reminds me of the late 60's and early 70's being able to buy C1 and C2 Corvettes for under $2K. I bought my 64 convertible 327/300 with factory air and 4-speed with only 61,000 miles on the original engine for $2,100 in 1968 in San Diego, CA. Sold it in Dallas, this was the market then a year and half later for $1,700 with the mag wheels I put on it. I bought a new 1970 Corvette.
