Default A Cooling fan Question?

I own a 86'coupe w/the Z51 package which means it has 2 cooling fans on it. normally the primary fan would kick on around 228 degrees and the pusher fan would come on around 238 degrees, well reccently I noticed that the pusher fan would come around 220* and the primary would not come on at all because it doesnt get hot enough to kick on, so I just changed out the cooling fan switch which controls the pusher fan and now it runs constantly. Any idea that I can try? .I have a 86'shop manual but it doesnt mention alot about the aux fan. Thanx

put the pusher on a manual switch, or replace the thermo switch currently stuck shut with one that works
