I dont like the way they do business but I buy from them. They have good headers and the the Miniram is hard to beat so I put up with the crap.

I get the impression they used to do a lot more business in the 90's. They do have some good stuff though.

Their poor customer service seemed just as bad in the 90's.
Hats off to them though. In spite of it, they still manage to sell parts and stay in business. I was ok with crappy service, but when I caught them in outright lies, I severed my ties with them.

They have been very good to me and more than willing to help with even used products.

TPiS is fine. I've talked to their staff (especially Clay) several times. He's always patient and helpful.

Mostly, I don't think they are (or have) tech guys on staff. They are "old school"....more of a mom/pop kindof shop. I wouldn't hold my breath for an email answer or let them do a tune. But their parts are fine. Some are marked up pretty good and can be found lower elsewhere.

I never ordered anything w/o talked to, and confiming active stock. So, I can't speak to their backorder process.

For an email --IF-- you insist on that type of contact, try engines@TPIS.com

The best way to buy from them is off ebay. Thats how I got my Mini. You have ebay feedback and Paypal to use if you have a problem. Got excellent service buying that way.

I've never had any problems with them myself with regards to product or customer service. You aren't the first person that have complained on here. Hopefully, your situation or issue will get remedied.

not saying anything bad about the products, but they must have day jobs or something.
really several phone calls at different times of day, worthless emails, an online ordering system that dont work.
