Did the 1987 Corvettes have a clock of any kind? The original radio (I have it) was replaced with an Alpine CDA 9884 and I cannot find a dash clock......
Maybe, and believe me it is complicated for me, I just have not gotten the Alpine set/explored and it has a clock?????
As I remember my 1989 Eldorado had a clock; this Corvette dash has a lot in common with it the dash displays/choices, cornering lights, etc.

Reason: mistake in grammar
I wonder if my Alpine has a clock? I can barely change stations on it. I bought a car that was being set up for an 18 year old to take to college. It had a lot of stereo stuff and more wattage than I need. I am sure he knew how to operate it. I do have two up on him. I can drive a 4 speed and I have his vette.
I have not read the directions, yet.....the day after I got the car I had to call the former owner and ask how to shut off the radio You hold "source" for a while, until it goes off.
It does get loud as he added something behind the seats that makes the street vibrate (and the car) if you turn it loud enough. He was young --54.
As a retired guy , I see little need for a clock in a car.
My Pioneer stereo unit has one, but it is too hard to see.
If I need to drive, I just take a watch and stash it in the center console and peek at it once in a while.
I do remember the clock in my 73 Vette. It was accurate to the exact second, exactly twice a day I could get it running for a while and then it would quit. I guess the heat, vibration, cold was too much for its primitive workings.
