you can push the eng/met button to switch from km to miles. It will display in whatever unit you have selected.
I've never run below 2 gallons remaining- I don't know how accurate the range estimator is.

I know, I know. On my recent trip to North Carolina I forgot to get gas. (I don't know how or why) and I know the Corvette will go 461.6 miles before it stops along side the highway. The range thingy still said 14 miles to go. I put a gallon in along side the road, drove 10 miles to a gas station and put in 19.6 gallons.
It is a 20 gallon tank.......really and gets almost EXACTLY 23 MPG.
