I insured my 88 35th anniv coupe with Adam at the NCM in December of last year and intend to transfer all 5 of my other Corvettes over to them this November when the coverage of those other 5 Corvettes ends......
The NCM is great for those of us with multiple Corvettes OR other "special" toys in the garage
Those 5 are insured with American Collectors and to be honest I have had no problems with them and I did have a claim years ago which never caused my rates to increase and the claim was handled very well...
Its just that the quote IO got from Adam and the NCM was about a hundred dollars cheaper for all 6 of my cars then American collectors charged me for the 5 I currently have insured...
The NCM only hits you for one car (as a driver) and not for the first 3 cars as American Collectors do which makes a big difference in the total bill...
The NCM also allows you to insure a car for as few as 1000 miles a year which in my case also helps as 2 of my Corvettes do not get driven all that much ..so I have those two with 1000 miles per years limits 2 more at 3000 limits and 2 at 6000 mile limits...
This works for me...as it matches how I drive my cars and also because it lowers my premium...
I'd call Adam.and Hagerty and American Collectors and Taylor etc and get quotes as well as driving and storage restrictions...\

If you have young drivers still at home ( yea me BAD), it might not work for you. I have on in college and one in high school. So still got State Farm, they have been fine for the last 24 yrs have all our property and vehicles thru them and have worked well.
I was with State Farm, then American Family. Now, I'm with USAA because I'm overseas. I have to choose between them and Geico. I chose USAA.
Why do I get insurance so easily and for dirt cheap?
1.) In the military
2.) No speeding tickets
3.) My mom was my insurance agent....
that helps a lot!
The best I had was State Farm. I NEVER had a problem with them and they have plenty of discounts. Especially if you are in school and you have a clean driving record.
I tried Hagarty because they run ads constantly on my favorite channel. I was amazed to get a policy for $262 a year for my 1986 Corvette. It's not worth much and I drive it very little, but it was less than half of what my regular insurer wanted to charge me.
I have USAA. Insurance on my '84 is only $24 a year more than my '96 Jeep Cherokee. Not bad for a sports car. Never been able to afford one until now. Oh, yeah full coverage comp and collision.
The key to insurance is how you use your car. If it is a DD rates are like any other car. If it is insured as a collector car with use limitations rates fall like a rock. My 85 is insured by American Collectors, limited use with a 5,000 mile a year limit. Cost me $165. this year.
I switched my '01 Mustang SVT Cobra to NCM in May 2011 from State Farm. Reason was simple, money. I have and still am w/State Farm for close to 30 years. Have my home, hurricane, flood, disability, long term disability, 3 grand children life policies, my DD and my wife's DD with them. Would they give me a break - NO FREAKING WAY. So I went to Adam and for around $300 bucks a year I have great insurance. Met Adam at Corvettes at Carlisle this year, he is a great guy and I am glad I made the switch to NCM instead of the others I had contacted. Only my humble opinion.
