Default fuel filter

ok I know this is an easy one. but I just got the fuel filter I want to know if any body knows the proper procedure to change this thing??? I know if the line have pressure. you will have some gas on your face

it will be nice to see some picture too

Sorry , no pics but you need to pull the fuse for the fuel pump , run the car till it shuts off.. It probably wouldn't hurt to open the cap and push on the schrader valve to make sure theres no pressure. Then using a set of line wrenches to remove the filter, be carefull not to mess up the o-rings , or better yet replace the o-rings with new ones....WW

I read somewhere that is a presure valve for the gas. that you can like open or something. not sure. but the fuse sound ok

That valve you speak of is the Schrader Valve, its on the passenger side fuel rail, it has a small cap on it and if you press the center of it with a small screwdriver you will find out real fast if you have pressure in the system.Watch your eyes ,hold a rag over it for safety.. Its still a good idea to pull the fuse and run the car till it shuts off before touching the Schrader valve..This is the only way to get rid of all the fuel...WW

Run the tank low on fuel. Jack the front of the car up high. If you do this, very little gas will run out.
