What is your inside temp set at? What's the outside temp? What setting is your climate control set for?

It might also be missing all or part of the cowl seal. So, when the engine is started, hot air floats out the cowl and hits the cool outer windshield.

My does this when parked outdoors because of the large cowl cutouts in my Toledo Pro Hood.

D@mn right. Fogging on the inside (especially if smelling like coolant) means your heater core has sprung a leak.

I finally got to see it last night cuz its my dads car and the fogging starts right at the center so im almost positive that its just the window getting cold right there and hot air opposing it or something of the sort...is this a normal concern for these cars?

Is there any cold A/C air coming from the defroster vent in the center of the windshield? I can make this happen if I put my A/C on the defrost or the split level between floor and Def. The outside of the window will get a little foggy spot on it like the outside of an ice-tea glass does when you go outside in the heat of the day. The glass is just getting cold in that spot.

yes there is cold air coming out of the defrost vent and apparently sometimes the a/c doesnt do what he wants so im thinking the mode doors might have a problem

Yep, mine did that. Sometimes it took forever for the air to finally come out of the dash vents. It was vacuum leaks in that little vacuum router box under the dash above the gas pedal. A real "mother dog" to get out, but fairly easy to fix once you do. There is a detailed post w/ pictures here some place, just can't think of what the title of that post is.
Jump in here guys, I'm sure somebody knows where this fix with pix is located.

Exact same problem it takes a minute for the air to come out of the vents so if somebody can find that it would be great

Default worried about my new 92 c4, coolant inside?

So I went on a short ride tonight (first time on highway really...just got the car recently..) and seeing a lot of fog inside car...almost all four windows...couldn't get rid of it...

and it seemed like not normal fog, but something more sticky... or slick...

then after about 40 minute ride, on way back home "service engine soon" light came on. UBER WORRIED NOW.

and earlier today, when I closed my restaurant and picked up car, there was a leak in the public lot that did seem to come from my car...

Heater core leak??

If that's it, what kind of $ am I looking at to fix, and can I drive it to shop? All gauges seemed to be running fine on way home, with "service engine soon" light on of course..

Help??

that definitely sounds like a heater core problem which from what ive heard is a pretty penny to fix i think you have to take the dash out and all that good stuff good luck.
