Man, you've got some work ahead of you. Props for trying something new! Good luck...and I'm with you, can't stand the popups (look cool, work for $h!t).

Interesting. One suggestion which may be a lot of work but will finish what you started is to extend the front hood line downward into part of the bumber so that it more naturally follows the contour created by the bottom of the ZX lamps. An easier alternative would be a two tone paint scheme that would create a similar line.

What's wrong with C4 headlights? I always thought they were pretty cool, the way they flip forward.

Can you give me some info on your rims and tires? They look great on that car.

as long as you like it, it does not matter what we say. Personally, I like the flip up headlights on vettes.

I actually like the look. The only problem with it is how it would be installed. The 300 ZX headlights are far more vertical than the headlights used on the corvette. You would end up using about 2 feet of hood to get enough height to fit the light.....

Thinking...thinking...thinking...

I need to draw this up just out of curiosity.

I do like the look of it though. It copies the lines of the fog lights VERY well and definitely does a better job of connecting the front clip with the hood than the stock lights.

You would be surprised what just a few degrees can do. If I was back home I would go to a junk yard and pick up the headlight enclosure for both and see what I could do. It's definitely something to think about.
