Need more details. Power steering fluid in the well? Am I missing something here? Can you see a leak? Hoses? Leak from pump? Belt? After refill did you turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times to purge all air? Would also help to know what year.

i sincerely appreciate your prompt response. i don't know what you mean "from lock to lock". i did turn it part ways but was afraid to turn it all the way to end on each side because of the noise it made. should i?
also, i can seem to find where the leak is coming from? the belt is still good. this is a 1985 corvette. moreover, i can find the leak in the hose or pump because i don't have a lift.
thank you for questions.
