New project for the 91 (like I don't have enough on my plate already)
I have a TPI on the way from a Forum member that I got for 175 bucks. Plenum, runners and manifold. I'm planning on doing a port and siamese as well and give them a nice mirror polished aluminum look. It'll take awhile, but It'll keep me out of trouble.
Anyways... my question. The TPI is coming off an 88. Is there anything I have to do about the cold start? they stopped doing that in... 90 i think? Will this affect anything? I'm pretty sure it won't, but I just wanted to check. Will there be any problems with the TB?
And now the reason I have been beating my head against the wall.
I will be replacing the manifold, runners and plenum. This will be a weekend drop in project once I get the system ready to go. What sensors, aux parts, tubes, or anything else that I will need that will come off WITH the old system.
I have this so far.
Fuel Pressure regulator
EGR delete plate
Intake air temp
MAP
gaskets (of course)

I have an early base on my 91 that came off a 9th injector car. I J B Welded a nickel into the hole that formerly held the 9th injector and then super glued a small Corvette medallion that I had picked up somewhere over the nickel.

I like the idea. But.....
I found a nice little kit at Custom Billet Works. For only 70 bucks you really can't go wrong. And, It'll look great when I pinstripe them and do a shine job on the intake so they match.
