This is because (as was explained to you in your other post) here in 2011 the fact that your 1993 was ordered with the Z07 option does not make it significantly (say $300.00) more valuable or desirable than a car with the base suspension.
Now, that fact that you have a Polo Green C4 rather than some run-of-the-mill orange/red C4 or a black C4 ….. that makes a difference ……….. not perhaps in any additional price that you may get when you sell it …. But when you are driving around and other C4 folks see you in your Polo Green Vette ……… they’re going to say ………… Geeze I coudda had a Polo Green one.
Just ask any of the other folks on here who have Polo Green C4s they’ll tell you the same thing

I don't know about published book values, but I'd pay a lot more than an extra 3 bills for a 6 spd Z07. Just the wheels, springs, and sway bars would cost a small fortune to track down and install if you wanted to duplicate the package.

A group of us Vette owners got together this weekend for a dyno day. While waiting for the other vettes to show up for the caravan to the shop this nice older lady came over and told us that she had to sell her 90 Turquiose Vtee with 36,000 miles. She wanted us to pass the news to other vette owners. I asked her what they were asking for it and she replied $19,000. I just did not have the heart to tell her she won't be getting that asking price.
