Awesome advice all. I took it to a shop to have some fresh Synthetic put in, cause I don't have time to do it myself. They said the belt had some cracks. I looked at it before I took it in and I thought it was fine. They wanted to charge 40.00 buck to put it in. I have never replaced it, so I bought one and am putting it on tomorrow. I already have the Garmin and of course I will take a map to be safe and I have inflato lady on order. I hear she is a good time. Thanks for all the fun with this post.

Do they combine the Garmin with the inflatolady, so that voice saying "You missed the turn, I TOLD you it was back there" comes from the passenger seat and sounds just like she's real?

Good choice on putting your own belt on - $40 to do that for you!?!

My dad downloaded the "sylvia" voice on his TomTom. Everything is just a little perverse. She'll say "Make a U-turn..... sllloowwly" or "You've arrived at your destination. Thanks for the ride...".

I don't think it would be that difficult to wire a speaker into a blow-up doll and run it into the GPS. I've done weirder things on a ship.

At least the inflatable "Sylvia" would not have to stop for a potty break every 100 miles!

With my luck, I would accidentally download the "Mother-In-Law" voice.

"Turn right in 300 yards....maybe you'll find a decent job there"

"When possible make a U-Turn.....and go back to before you married my daughter and stop"

"Please drive the highlighted route....it doesn't go to the sports bar".

actually it doesnt have to be very technical, you duct tape one to the dolls forehead so she can give directions from that end, and another to the spot of your choice so you can get directions for anything else you may or not be interested in.....this is another one of those threads that goes south fast again, huh
