My 87 is 25 YO acording to the build date. I guess it could decompose any day now.

I had three brand new ones last year. Never had a panel glued to them. Sold em all. Not a drop of rust on any of them.

Don't forget, so many "experts" have been telling us that the oldest C4's (84), routinely catch fire! Guess that heat keeps 'em dry-no rust! Apparently, we don't need heaters with all those fires!

forum member "h.d.fire" had one for sale about a month ago. was asking $500, which seems like a really decent price - if you actually need one...

I'm thinking just the opposite. It's no wonder the C4 is heavier than the later Corvettes, it looks built like a tank. Those beams are huge.

Compare with the following C2 "birdcage":

Glad they built them so strong. You would think that you wouldn't flex with the targa top off.

I re-listed the frame as I realized I'll likely not have the time to do aything with it. It really is a nice frame and rust FREE!
