Meltdown...Almost!
Hey guys, Went to start the vette today,starter engaged a cppl times but didnt turn over.bout the third try it started no problem. let it run a minute turned it off.thought i would try it again. started right up. realeasd key starter was still engaged..".Panic"lol turned key off engine quit,but not starter still engaged..".major panic" no tools at hand except a hammer. made a quick decision. battery termenal or meltdown. i chose batt. terminal. 95 lt1...any ideas what going on. Thanks in advance...gotta get to work now.

Sounds like starter solenoid went south on ya.
