So I'm going to be starting the process of removing the carpet and insulation from my '86. It was beat up when I bought it, so it's end state is going to be a car set up for the drag strip, so at least I only have to do half the work of "replacing" the carpet.
Was just wondering if there's anything I should take into consideration when removing it? I looked around and mostly saw threads about the actual replacement of it, but never really the tear down.
pretty simple R&R thing - just remove the seats, and some trim and start pulling out the carpet. start at the floor pans, and work back. i'm thinking mid-america has on-line instructions covering this...
