Default Road trip ---pics---

Finally got a break from school and work to take the vette out with my girlfriend in the mountains (Blue Ridge Parkway, NC)..... So much FUNNN!!! Could not have been a more perfect day. I was smiling the whole time just because I really didn't know what the vette could do cause I really haven't had a chance to take it out really. Amazing feel on the road. I had a mustang before this and I spent almost 2 grand on suspension stuff and the vette blows it out of the water straight out of the box. Here's a couple pics of the trip.

Oh and when did they change the speed limit to 45?! Frickin sweet! ha. I'm pretty sure it used to be 35.

Been on the Parkway on a motorcycle, a couple times during some cross-country riding. But never in a Corvette. I think that would just as much fun. Love the red color. Some good shots!

They are corsa. Kind of low key at low throttle but at WOT it gets pretty intense sounding.

I've lived in North Carolina for 13 years, and grew up next door in South Carolina. I thought the speed limit on the Parkway was always 45 MPH.
There are some sections where it briefly drops down to 35, but for the most part, it's 45 MPH.

Maybe you're thinking of Skyline Drive in Virginia, the speed limit is 35 MPH there.

It's a beautiful time of year to drive on the Parkway in North Carolina, and I'm glad I live in an area where I can drive my Corvette all year.

Good to hear that you were able to get out and have some fun with your car. Great looking scenery and your car looks really good with that background.
