Default plastic cleaning help (Pic inside)

Plastic motor parts on my vette. look old. I clean before. but iam not satisfy with the way it look now.

after clening when the water dry, the plastic part come back to that original old look.

can any body sugest some cleaning products or tips to restore the plastic

here is a good sample what I want to acomplish on my motor.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For old the funny people out there. I know this is not a vette engine. is just to use as an exmple.

On the rubber pieces you could try armor all. Maybe a Mr clean magic eraser if those are available for the plastic

Had pretty good luck with "Black Magic" and a few others. As long as the rubber/plastic is not faded, the black will usually come back. But, I'm not entirely satisfied either. (So, I guess I'm there with ya!)

This is a question to post on the car car section. There are some professional detailers there than can cut to the chase real fast for you (and me too, for that matter!!) Might want to do a search there and read up.

If you can get CD2 Detailer in Panama, this stuff is excellent:

I get the detailing sprays right from the professionals. The trucks that deliver all the cleaning materials to detail shops. I buy 3 cans at a time and it does a fantastic job of making rubber and plastic look like new ....for about 2 days. Then it's back to looking like it did before. Great for shows but not for the long run.

Just sprayed it on now for a Corvette Sunday show in Crystal River.

It's called Pro-Shine. (Didn't do the tires yet because I have to drive 20 miles to the show).

Crystal Chevrolet/Dodge/Jeep/Nissan. Started out a closed show with 4 different area Corvette Club attending but the flyers that went out to stores and vendors asking for donations of door prizes were put up in the stores windows and now it's an open show if you care to attend. $10 entrance fee, registration 9 to 11.
