Default Need some help!!

Hey folks,
My daughter has my 86 in the Scottsdale Arizona area. She just tried to start the car and the key will only go in 1/4 quarter of the way and the ignition will not turn. Any thoughts and any suggestions for a vette service shop in thay area. My number is 702-612-5909. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Peace.
Stephen

Try inserting the key while pulling the steering wheel left and right. The column may be locked and release.

Also a little dry graphite squirted into the lock cylinder would not hurt

Small world, woman parked next to me had the same problem with her Chrysler 300. Same solution, same reaction.

Actually this will work on just about any car if the problem originates from the wheel lock having been engaged after the ignition being shut off
