Default not a highest mileage C4 thread, but highest driven...

a simple question - how many miles have you, PERSONALLY, driven your C4, and how long have you owned it? who has put the most miles on a C4???

i might as well start it off - i drove my 1985 for approximately 80K miles over a 12 year period (bought it in 1996 with 33600 miles - passed it off to my son at around 115K miles, and, so far, he's driven it for another 35K miles. haven't checked with him lately, but i'm guessing the 85 has around 150K on the clock)

The last 2 daily drivers were about 90k in 4.5 years.

'88 about 40k in about 2 years
'94 about 50k in about 2.5 years.

Longest owned is my 85 at about 23 years. (Not as many miles though).

It's not me:
1996 I've had 10 years almost 800 miles.
1991 I've had about 8 months maybe 1k miles (big maybe)
1989 had that one 7 years and a little over 10k miles mostly on the track but a few road trips.

Those are just the ones we have now I don't remember the other C4's.

I put about 20k on my 84 in nearly five years of ownership. That was with a mixture of driving, even driven daily at times. It had 110k on it when I bought her in 05 and had nearly 130k when I waved here bye-bye for my 90. So far I put 6k on my 90 since I bought her in June of last year. I just put almost 4k on her just this year, and that's not daily driven. My 90 had 38k on her when I bought her and now has almost 45k. Sadly she went to storage on Wednsday.

There was a guy on here back in the day that had bought his new in the 80's and racked up over 200K on it. Don't recall who it was. Wasn't me....couldn't afford these when they were new back then.

Only one C4....
Drove it 4,500 miles over the past 14 months since I bought it. Drive it primarily on weekends and didn't drive it last Winter. Won't drive it this Winter either.
