clutch pedal problems

clutch pedal problems
took my 87 corvette manual 4+3 trans to the shop last week.
Had a new clutch kit put in and slave cylinder. The guy bled the system. He called me and says that the clutch pedal does fine after he bleeds it and after it sits a few minutes it gets hard and won't move?
Also he said that the clutch isnt releasing.
And that he thinks its the clutch master cylinder.
The car never did this before with the pedal, before the clutch install.
This guy thinks alot and I just want a second oppinion as to is this the reason the clutch is acting this way before I go spend $200 for a clutch master cylinder.
Could it be something that he has done wrong with the install?
