Default exhaust issues

okay the PO removed the resonators and installed two flowmaster 40 at the back, so it is very loud and drones. Anyway, does anyone have pictures of how the stock system should look so I can show the muffler guy, as it looks right now I have two large pipes side by side in the tunnel then they vear off to the two mufflers, needless to say there is no space for the resonators under the tunnel.
Help please!!

Go to ebay and search for C4 exhaust and you will see some listing with good pictures.

Your problem is not the absence of the resonator. Flowmaster 40 are notorious for being one of the
most noisiest mufflers which also provides perhaps the loudest drone of all.

Remove your mufflers and install an "X" Pipe with muffler delete tips you will have a nice rumble drone-free.

let me rephrase, stock style, Ca will not allow any high flow ones. I do have aftermarket magnaflow cats on my bmw, but not the high flow.

Corsa are not loud but very expensive. Go back to new stock type muffs, forget the resonator for now.

Corvette Central should have both Corsa and stock.

GOOD looks like crzydrumer14 put up the pics of the stock system. here is a video I did on the first start up with the corsa system..it is
expensive but in my opinion it is the best with no droaning at all and great sound. keep in mind the car is in the garage and is a tad louder but it sounds great..

Cavi... Honestly, I think Corsa is perfect in everyway. Sure they are alittle more expensive but you get what you pay for. And besides If you wait long enough you can find a deal. I picked up my whole system for 1200 shipped. It all comes down to if you want drone or not. I assume you dont want drone so go with corsa. Not quiet but nice sounding at just cruise and then when you open up the throttle it sounds like baby jesus.

Theres tons of videos out there. Be best to try and find someone nearby with Corsa. Id help but... Im all the way on the east coast... :/

But I love Corsa. I was in the same boat a couple months ago. No buyers remorse as of now.

Corsa was a little more quiet than muffler elims on my 88 tpi when you'd get on the throttle, and it's dead quiet at cruising speed. Another forum member gave me a coupon and i picked the entire catback for 750 shipped. Definitely worth it. Great sound, no drone, and great looking.

Magnaflow X-pipe muffler in the center and used Corsa's out back. They're on the car now and sound great. The best for me.....but I'm getting older and need to hear my John Denver music.
