Default Buffeting and "Vette Net" type solution?

A quick search didn't really find the answer (though I did find some information about the mirror deflectors). I'm wondering if anyone uses a "Vette Net" type device behind the seats of their C4 convertible?

Those not familiar with it ... here is a snapshot from Ecklers:

I've driven a C6 that had one and it really made a big difference. I've also had a couple other cars with a similar device but never had one on any of my C4s. I'm not even sure they make anything that would work, so I thought I'd check here to see if there's some insight.

By way, I'm familiar with the fabric device that fits over the back of the seats and is supposed to help. I've seen them at a couple shows but didn't care for how flimsy it was. I also figured it would flap a lot at highway speed. But I'd be interested to hear some real world experience for even something like that.

Thanks!

You could just drive with the windows up. I wonder if those mesh things would impair rear visibility.
