Good lord these things took a dive. I cant believe what you can get one for??? I was thinking about selling but not after what I've seen. I can pick up a descent CAR for what I've got in rims and tires on mine

I watch the CL prices daily in my area (Los Angeles) and I'm of the belief that C4 prices have already hit the bottom and have stabilized, if not moved up. I'm starting to see people asking for decent dough, for their decent C4's. Don't get me wrong, they're still a value, but you can't 'steal' em anymore, especially the 91 and up C4's. The early C4's are still down there.
I sure liked this one! 91' Vert, rebuilt engine, all quality parts in the rebuild, new top, with glass and the color makes it special too. I'd pay that kind of dough for this one and the $9,100 price is good. The interior is immaculate too!

Certainly a good deal on this polo green coupe too

35th Annvy C4, $7,400, looks decent enough, but they're not giving it away either.

96, with 43K for $16K. Asking a lot, but you can haggle from there. It is very clean.

Cheap is a good thing
Look at all the other cars we used to like to buy.
Priced so far out of range they are untouchable.
The mid/late C3s are still cheap and they are waiting impatiently too lol.
Gonna be awhile guys
now if they keep getting hack fixed like you see so much maybe the cleaner ones can bring a little more a little sooner seems like the trend lately.

I tend to think differently. In my area the majority of the 93 to 96 models go for over 10000. I found mine for 6000, it needed some (actually, quite a bit) of work, but nothing major, new tires, new seats and so forth. I truthfully did not have the cash for a 10000 model, but by buying the one for 6 I can slowly fix it up and end up with one in great shape with brand new seat, brand new tires of my liking, ect.
Makes sense to me, plus I love a good project!!!

I am not sure I would go as far as to state the best car ever, but they are deffinitly a ledgend. I lived in Brazil for a long time and they are deffinitly a ledgend there right up there with any porshe or other sports car.
In my book they are probably as close as I could get to a supercar with my budget and still sleep well at night....
No matter how much you paid, or what shape it is in, people will always stop and look at it in awe.....

My 1994 was only 7k, 1 owner, 78k miles. Needs nothing has new tires.
Small tear on the back of the headrest and I had to flush the radiator.
I thought that was cheep for a Corvette this nice.
Well... It needs twin turbos...
Hopefully next year.

I do not understand the constant obsession with value.
Its value is what you paid for it and what a seller gives you.
These are used cars not stocks you cant retire off them.
Most times you will lose money on them they are toys
They will drive the same no matter what they are worth.

Safety Car
There are basic facts people need to face, most cars should not be considered investments. Drive what you love, you will rarely get out what you put into them(half would be good), if you want to move on you will take the hit. That is one of the best things about C4's IMO, when you see one on the road the driver probably loves his car!
