I bought a 1984 vette from a guy on craigslist.. He said it ran great! Guess what happen after I got it home? I've had to replace every stinkin sensor. Gave it a new water pump, oil pump, rear crank seal. Now it needs a new ECM. The map sensor pink wire was not sending any voltage! I've also replaced the EGR and EGR solenoid. valve cover gaskets, fan relay, breather and hood gaskets. Plus much more. So be careful. Although I've had to spend lots o' cash to repair this beast... I feel that I have saved this vette from the salvage yard. I am doing the work myself...whew what a job it has been. good luck.
