You didn't mention the year car you have, but on my 89 you pop the hatch glass and at the top are 2 large recessed phillips head screws you have to remove, then it pulls right off..I will mention that you have to use a stubby screwdriver to get to the screws, not much room under there.....WW
Sorry mine is a 94 so it is in the rear bumper, i am guessing i need to remove the fuel door
no need to remove the fuel door. i did my 96 last summer, and if i remember correctly, i removed the license plate, [correction] and the license lamp assembly - not the back-up lights. seems to me there are two (2) 7mm screws holding the assembly to the rear fascia.
Thanks, yes remove the liscence plate! I am not sure I am sold on the led 3rd light. Kinda does not match the taillights, i need to see if i can cet one that is more blacked out or a vinyl blackout for it
